So, it seems we had a belated trick or treater. Saturday night, the night after Halloween, I heard a noise outside my front door. When I investigated I saw a tiny grey ball of fluff run off into the driveway. The poor thing actually climbed up into the engine block of my car, and had to be extracted by my husband. We asked all the neighbors, and put up signs, but no one has claimed him yet.
I'm guessing he's about 7 weeks old and is under two pounds. He is also missing the last third of her tail-there is a scab suggesting it is a recent injury. He likes to hide under and behind things, but also loves to be cuddled. He can most often be found curled up with my teenager, who is campaigning hard for us to keep him. We are waiting to see how he gets along with the rest of the animals here, but in the meantime he needs a name. Any ideas? Be creative!
